* Offers are valid for 7 days after they are sent to you. Your payout estimate is subject to adjustment during the in-person assessment if your bag does not match your photos or description.
Step 3: Ship your bag

If you decide to accept our estimated payout offer, you will receive a pre-paid shipping label to ship your bag to us.
Step 4: Final evaluation

Upon receiving your bag, we perform a thorough in-person assessment and certify the authenticity of your bag. If everything checks out, you will receive a final payout offer.
* If we find any discrepancies between the actual condition of your bag and what was described in the photos and description, we will provide you with an adjusted offer.

What items do you accept?
Here are the specific items we currently accept:

All items should be authentic, in fair to excellent condition, and free from major defects and persistent odors.

Do you accept international consignors?
Unfortunately, due to customs regulations and logistical challenges, we are unable to accept international items for consignment.
How do you determine the pricing for my bag?
FashioNica uses a detailed process to determine a fair market price for each item, taking into account multiple factors:
- Brand and Style: Luxury brands and specific bag models can vary greatly in value. Rare or highly sought-after styles may have higher price points.
- Condition: The condition of your bag—ranging from excellent to fair—affects its resale value. We assess any wear, scratches, or signs of use to determine a grade for the item.
- Market Trends: We keep a close eye on the resale market to understand the latest demand and price trends for luxury bags. This includes recent sales data, popularity, and seasonal trends.
- Original Retail Price and Rarity: While the original retail price is only a reference, it helps provide context, especially for items that are rare or limited editions.
Our goal is to ensure a competitive and transparent price that reflects the unique qualities of each bag.
How do I know how much I will get for my item?
With FashioNica’s upfront purchase option, you’ll receive a clear offer price before committing to the sale. Here’s how the process works:
- Submit Your Item: Start by submitting your item using our quick and easy submission form.
- Receive Your Initial Offer: Based on the details provided, along with our assessment of its condition and current market trends, we’ll send you an initial offer. This offer may be adjusted if, during an in-person review, the item’s condition differs from your description. You can accept or decline this initial offer.
- Send Your Item for Final Review: If you accept the initial offer, we’ll provide a prepaid shipping label for you to send your bag to us for in-person assessment.
- Get Final Offer: After we complete an in-person evaluation and authentication, you’ll receive a final offer. Once you approve, we’ll process your payout promptly.
This process ensures a transparent, accurate valuation, and a convenient way for you to sell your luxury items.
How long is my offer valid?
Once we send you an offer, it’s valid for seven (7) days from the date you receive it. This gives you time to review and decide whether to accept or decline. If the offer expires, you’re welcome to resubmit your item, though please note the offer may change based on market conditions and updated evaluations.
Why was my item not accepted?
At FashioNica, we strive to maintain a high standard for the items we accept to ensure quality, authenticity and value for our buyers. Here are some common reasons why an item may not be accepted:
- Condition: Items must be in fair to pristine condition. If a piece has significant wear, damage, persistent odors or is in a condition that doesn’t meet our standards, it may not be eligible.
- Authenticity: We only accept verified authentic luxury items. If our authentication process raises concerns or if the item cannot be confidently verified as authentic, we may not proceed with it.
- Brand and Style: We focus on specific luxury brands and styles. If an item doesn’t align with our brand requirements, it may not be accepted. Items from brands not listed on our submission form are also currently not eligible.
- Market Demand: Occasionally, items may not be accepted if they do not align with current demand trends, which allows us to maintain a curated selection that meets buyer interest.
If your item isn’t accepted, it’s nothing personal! You’re always welcome to reach out to us for clarification or to explore other options.
What happens if my bag is not accepted?
If your bag doesn’t meet our acceptance criteria before it’s shipped, we’ll simply close your submission, and no further action is needed.
If we determine that your bag doesn’t meet our criteria after it arrives at our facility, we’ll notify you and arrange for its return. You’ll receive shipping instructions, and your bag will be sent back to the address on file. Please note, a 1.99% (with a $50 minimum) processing fee may apply to help prevent misuse of our consignment process and ensure smooth handling for genuine submissions.
In cases where a bag cannot be authenticated but is not confirmed as inauthentic, you may have the option to pay a $250 processing fee for its return. For items determined to be counterfeit, we reserve the right to destroy the item or, in certain cases, transfer it to law enforcement.
Can I take my item back?
Yes, you may request to have your item returned at any time during the consignment period, provided it hasn’t been sold or paid out. Here’s how it works:
- If the item has been shipped out, a 1.99% processing fee (with a $50 minimum) applies to cover handling and return shipping.
- If the item has already been paid out, it cannot be taken back, as ownership has fully transferred to FashioNica.
- If the item is determined to be counterfeit, it will be destroyed, and it will not be returned.
- If the item cannot be authenticated but is not verified as counterfeit, you have the option to pay a $250 fee to have it returned.
