Founder's Story
A Passion Years in the Making
Growing up in a single-parent household with a keen eye for fashion, I found myself frequenting my local thrift shops for hidden treasures, eager to revive and incorporate them into my wardrobe. The thrill of the hunt is in my DNA, which naturally evolved into a passion. After I landed my first corporate job, I finally had a "shopping budget" to invest in higher-quality handbags... Or so I thought.
Building the Brand
It didn’t take long for me to realize that luxury retail prices were still beyond what I felt comfortable spending. It was then that I had a lightbulb moment: why not buy a pre-loved designer bag? Having purchased secondhand items my entire life, it felt like a natural step. At the same time, I realized that not everyone had the time, patience, or experience to find their next authentic designer dream bag, so I made it FashioNica's mission to take the hard work out of the search.
Rooted in Our Beliefs
Today, FashioNica is a collective of meticulously curated pieces sourced from locations worldwide. The curation process is my favorite part, involving the procurement of everything from current classics to ultra-rare vintage pieces. Every item is thoughtfully chosen to reflect current trends and the tastes of our dedicated community, all while staying true to our core philosophy: We won’t stock it if we wouldn’t rock it.
